Jam Sponge

Description

A Jam Sponge is a natural sea sponge that you can use instead of a tampon. Women have used sponges as tampons for years but a Jam Sponge has attitude!

It’s a natural sea sponge that is used internally in place of a tampon. It’s a healthier way to soak up the blood and it will save you pounds!

Jam Sponges are absorbent, reusable and will last for around a year. The Jam Sponge is sourced from the Mediterranean Ocean. You will receive a kit containing 2 unbleached sponges, a red storage pouch, full instructions, and a fun “Jam Sponge” badge!

Sustainably harvested and reusable for up to 12 months, sponge tampons are economical, easy to use, and earth friendly.

Description

Supplies menstrual cups, made in Finland from 100 per cent medical grade silicone. Hypoallergenic, the cups are a sanitary and healthy alternative to disposable tampons and towels. Cost-effective and environmentally friendly, with proper care can last for 5-10 years. Soft and flexible, easy to use and comfortable inserted in the vagina where it is kept in place by a vacuum and the vaginal muscles. Can be used at night, needs emptying 2-4 times every 24 hours. Easy to clean, rinse thoroughly with un-perfumed soap and water. Can be sterilised by placing in boiling water for 2 minutes but no longer than 5 minutes.

Can be used by all women of menstruating age, and with an IUD or contraceptive diaphragm. Doesn’t change the natural moisture level of the vagina. No outbreaks of vaginal thrush, cystitis or toxic shock syndrome have been linked to the use of menstrual cups. Can be worn during sporting activities. Not tested on animals. Please note for hygiene reasons this product is non-returnable.
