Description

A charity which initiates and manages conservation projects throughout the UK and around the world. Launched in 1982, the Foundation creates and manages a wide range of programmes and initiatives covering all environmental interests including award schemes, special events, publications and information services.

Current projects include Wessex Watermarks, providing funding for environmental projects of all kinds in the Wessex Water region; the Great British Elm Experiment, Ulmus londinium - an elm project for London; Ancient Yew Campaign; Young Scientists for Rainforests; O2's Think Big; Gardening Against the Odds; London's Green Corner Awards; Faith Works; Formed from a Crystal; and The Road From Rio+20.
