Duke of Cambridge


The Duke of Cambridge, the only Soil Association certified organic pub in the UK, opened in December 1998. It has received huge critical acclaim for its stunning food, drink and original concept with enormous press coverage and many awards, including Evening Standard, Time Out and Observer Food Monthly Magazine.

A pioneer in sustainable eating out, The Duke stretched beyond being 100% organic; sustainability of the produce, from British seasonality and locality to the first Marine Conservation Society approved fish purchasing policy in the UK. Every aspect of environmental impact is monitored from food waste being composted, the green electricity tariff to the soap in the loos being local and organic. The pub is furnished with recycled tables and chairs from the 1940's and has used reclaimed and sustainable materials in its refurbishment wherever possible. The Duke continues to receive outstanding critical acclaim from press and customers alike while still being a leader in green dinning.

Children are welcomed and kids can order off the menu in smaller portions.
