Description

A county wildlife charity caring for over 60 nature reserves and providing events and wildlife information for individuals and organisations. Operates a schools programme and educates over 2,000 pupils a year, has extensive information about wildlife gardening and composting, runs an events programme and influences planners and policy makers on local wildlife conservation issues.

Part of a national partnership of 47 Wildlife Trusts who collectively speak out for wildlife at a national level. Believes that all people whatever their age or background should enjoy a healthy and wildlife-rich environment for a better quality of life and wishes to work with all types of communities and groups to achieve this.
