Borders Forest Trust

Description

Works to conserve, restore and manage native woodlands in the south of Scotland. Supports community woodland, education and arts projects and offers conservation volunteering opportunities. It also works in partnership with Real Wood Studios, a bespoke furniture making workshop that specialises in the creative use of Scottish hardwood timber. Its vision for the South of Scotland is a place where a rich network of native woodlands and wild places flourish, cared for by local communities. BFT is a membership organisation with members receiving regular newletters and invites to events and activities. Offers the opportunity for people to become more actively involved in woodlands.
