Ealing Transition Initiative

Description

Ealing Transition comprises local people coming together to share concerns, raise awareness and take practical action to strengthen and enrich our local community in the face of the challenges of climate change and economic stresses. We run regular film and public participation events at which ideas can be shared, partners connected and plans for actions and projects developed which are within the abilities of a wide range of community members.

We have established projects including Edible Ealing organic box scheme, a renewable energy group, Insulate Ealing household energy conservation scheme, a Community Garden Group who grow together, a Bee Project cooperative, community orchards and public edible garden & a book group.

New projects and partnerships emerge where there is energy and commitment. We aim to enjoy what we do and tend to eat a lot of cake.

Anyone is welcome to join us by linking through our website. We currently have around 1,200 members.
