Women’s Farm & Garden Association


A charity working since 1899 for women who earn their living in agriculture and horticulture. The current training programme ‘Women Returners to Amenity Gardening’ teaches trainees in working gardens throughout England, Wales and Scotland, on a part-time basis within their home location. Membership offers a full programme of workshops on specialist subjects, garden tours and visits, career advice, regional groups, newsletters, special offers on tools, books, entrance fees to shows and exhibitions, grants, etc.

The Christine Ladley Fund was set up in 2009 offering funding for projects, education and equipment, applicants must be a member of the WFGA prior to application. Membership is open to both men and women for £22.50 email or £28 post per year.
