FoodCycle

Description

FoodCycle builds communities by combining volunteers, surplus food, and spare kitchen spaces to create nutritious meals for people at risk from food poverty and social isolation. We run 15 volunteer-powered community projects across the UK, reclaiming food that would otherwise be wasted and using it to cook healthy meals for people in need.

We also run a full-time Community Cafe in Bromley-by-Bow, promoting healthy eating in the community and supporting volunteer trainees to develop the skills and confidence needed to get jobs.
