Ramsons

Description

‘Ramsons’ is the old English name for wild garlic which grows on the banks of the river Irwell which flows through Ramsbottom (from Ramsons Bottoms!). The cuisine is 'Italian influenced', in as far as it tends to the style of rural Italian culture; thus it uses ingredients which are properly and traditionally in season and totally traceable to farmers whose families have farmed naturally for generations. The stylish Anglo-Italian menu features uncomplicated dishes which uses minimal salt in the cooking and taste as good as they look.
