Django's Hostel

Description

Django’s is the first ecohostel in the first ecovillage in Ireland, offering the finest modern budget hostel accommodation in the Midlands. Open to all, the hostel has 11 private rooms and dorms, all are en-suite, and as well as offering accommodation for tourists it offers facilities for those attending the many courses, conferences and small events being run and facilitated by a variety of organisations both in the ecovillage and in Cloughjordan village itself.

We subscribe to the ethos of our ecovillage and encourage visitors to be more aware of their impact on our planet and the local environment.

Low energy consumption, conservation of water and management of waste considerations are all incorporated in the design, construction and management of the building. We also work closely with local businesses wherever possible to keep our local economy thriving and we encourage our visitors to do the same.

So if you are a tourist or someone wishing to experience the beautiful midlands maybe walking or cycling or if you feel that you have the necessary qualifications, and would be interested in facilitating or running a course in your discipline in the ecovillage, we’d love to hear from. Just call us.
