London Glider Cider

London Glider Cider and Perry - made using 100% fresh fruit juice, pressed from hand picked apples and pears, grown in urban and suburban gardens that would otherwise go to waste.

Many gardens have an apple or pear tree, but most of the fruit is not used. So from late August through to early December, we are invited to ‘rescue’ this excess yield to make cider from it.

In the traditional fashion we press the fruit to squeeze out its juice (the dry pulp, which is all that is left from the fruit after each pressing, is given to a local farmer to feed his sheep). The juice ferments and is left to mature in barrels, over winter. The cider made from the previous autumn’s fruit collection is ready to be blended early spring.

It is available in a rotating selection of London’s CAMRA recommended freehouse pubs and venues. It can also be bought at certain festivals and events. Please see our website for details.
