Baby-led Potty Training

Baby-led potty training, (aka elimination communication) is the ancient art of keeping baby clean and dry. It is practised around the world, notably in Africa, India, and China, and is now a growing movement in the West. Parents and care-givers hold their baby out in a squat position, so that they void outside of their nappy. Parents use timing and routine when deciding when to offer an opportunity, and they also come to recognise their baby's expressions of discomfort and need to toilet, as the communication between them grows.
