The Friends of the Parkland Walk

Description

The Parkland Walk is a nature reserve that follows the route of an abandoned railway line. It has two sections: between Finsbury Park and Highgate Station and between Highgate Wood and Muswell Hill. The aim of the Friends is to conserve the varied habitats of this valuable urban green space and to achieve a balance between its often competing roles as a nature reserve, linear park, footpath and as a route used by many cyclists. We also sponsor guided walks and wish to develop its educational value and help people appreciate its worth.
