Regional park, managed by Loch Lomond Park Authority and situated to the north west of Glasgow. Covering 44,200 hectares of land, ranging from a 'tundra-like' world at 3000 ft to the sheltered marshes and woodlands, the Park inspires love and respect from those who know it well. The Park Authority conserves the natural and heritage values of the park and promotes the economic and social interests of the local community.
