The Knot

Description

The Knot is a membership network with a broad range of established and emerging leaders from all sectors. Regardless of specialism members are innovative, entrepreneurial, creative, future-thinking and socially responsible, who all like to look at life through a wider lens.

Our focus is on exchanging knowledge amongst our members and curating learning from outside, bringing in insightful thinkers from the wider business, technology, creative and entrepreneurial communities. We’ve found that combining networks and transferring know-how enables inspirational insights for mutual benefit.

Our members come together through a variety of convivial early evening events and dinners, with invited speakers and an emphasis on sharing perspectives across the sectors. This year our activities have included dinner with the Secretary of State for Energy & Climate Change, Ed Davey MP; ‘Talking transformational Business with Sir Tim Smit, founder of The Eden Project’; dinner with the former Chancellor of the Exchequer, Lord Lamont; ‘Exploring Space’ with a space tourist, Science Minister and NASA consultant; and going ‘Behind the Scenes’ for special access evenings at The Daily Telegraph, St. James’ Theatre and dinner in a professional Artist’s studio.

Upcoming events include ‘Technology and the Future’ to be hosted at Google; ‘The Knot Does Question Time’; ‘Redesign and The Circular Economy’; ‘Behind-the-Scenes of the Film Industry’; ‘The Psychology of Sport’ and ‘Conflict Resolution: On The Battlefield And In Office’.
