Galloway Wild Foods offers guided foraging walks, tuition and consultancy as well as a vast free online foraging guide to the edible wild plants, fungi and seaweed of the UK.

Based in SW Scotland, owner Mark Williams personally delivers a wide variety of foraging-themed events throughout the UK to a diverse customer base ranging from primary schools to Michelin-starred chefs. He also consults, writes and appears regularly on national media as an authority on wild food.

Mark's emphasis is on mindful, sustainable foraging, unlocking the remarkable flavours and diverse uses of common "weeds" for all. Galloway Wild Foods DOES NOT SELL any wild foods.

  • Guided walks, about 1 mile over 2-3 hours, focussing on in-season wild foods. Treats and tasters throughout and an al-fresco cook-in afterwards. Walks are often themed - eg. Spring plants, Coastal foraging, Fungi, Wild Booze
