The Sustainability Centre

A 55-acre site where the ideals of sustainable living, sustainable business, sustainable leisure and sustainable economic growth are developed, promoted and taught. The Centre has been created to help people and organisations explore and develop more environmentally sustainable ways of living, working and conducting business. It does this by: promoting and explaining the concepts of sustainable development and sustainability; providing education, training facilities, work experience and volunteering opportunities for individuals and business; rehabilitating and managing the sites natural habitats; demonstrating and using environmentally-benign technologies and permaculture design systems; by being a laboratory for new ideas, products and technologies.

Runs course and events and offers school and teacher learning and training. The Beach Cafe is open in Summer and Winter, and the centre runs a campsite and offers holidays in tipis, yurts and a lodge.
