Zilch UK

Zilch, standing for Zero Instances of Litter Can Happen, is the national network of individuals in the UK working to eliminate littering.

The organisation exists to agitate and motivate each other and those in positions of power and influence to do more to bring about a change in behaviour that will reduce the financial and environmental costs of individuals inappropriately discarding the by products of their activities.

Our remit includes tackling everything from gum-spits to fly-tips and balloon releases.

Wherever possible we aim to bring innovative and evidence-based approaches to the problem to the table; whether that be in the area of improved disposal solutions, anti-littering messages or more efficient litter clearing procedures.

Our strategy is to be people powered, internet enabled, overhead free and action-based with the view that when lots of people do a little there's a much that can be achieved.
