Capital Growth Project

Capital Growth aims to create 2012 new community food growing spaces across London by the end of 2012. We offer practical help, grants, training and support to groups wanting to establish community food growing projects as well as advice to landowners.

Applicants to the scheme can be new or established community-led groups or businesses located in Greater London. Whilst projects can be for commercial gain, they must provide a community benefit in all cases. We offer support to spaces representing a diverse range of projects, boroughs, types and sizes of land, and community groups. We work with local authorities, housing associations and other landowners, making under-used land available to growers, and to communities interested in growing food.

There are many ways to get involved in this exciting campaign. See our website for ideas of the different ways you can benefit and help. You can get involved with your local spaces, take part in our food growing training sessions and much more so join the mailing list and keep updated.
