Event Description

Get this spring off to a cracking start by learning how to ice your own set of beautiful Easter biscuits. Iced biscuits also make beautiful presents – and you can make the gift even more special by icing the biscuits yourself. Learn how to achieve a professional look with royal icing: a great skill when preparing for special occasions or making presents.

Learn piping and decorating techniques using royal icing to create your own biscuit collection in time for Easter. Nature fans will love these personalised biscuits as they’re all shaped as wildlife you might look out for in spring, including rabbits, chicks, ladybirds, butterflies, squirrels and birds. Guaranteed brownie points with family and friends!

The class is two hours long and includes all materials – including pre-baked biscuits - and a recipe and tip sheet to take home, so you can carry on baking and decorating with your new skills.

Booking essential: please call 020 8409 4400. Please note that we require a minimum of twelve bookings for this workshop to go ahead.

An inspiring wetland landscape that stretches over 105 acres almost in the heart of London in Barnes, SW13. A place where people can leave the everyday stress of city living behind, find fresh air and become immersed in the wonders of wetlands. Where wildlife, in particular wild birds, find a haven to nest and feed, or to stop over on their long migratory journeys. Over 180 wild bird species, more than 300 butterflies and moths, 18 dragon and damselflies, water voles, amphibians and a host of other creatures can be seen throughout the year. We also have a cafe and a children's adventure playground.
