WWT London Wetland Centre
An inspiring wetland landscape that stretches over 105 acres almost in the heart of London in Barnes, SW13. A place where people can leave the everyday stress of city living behind, find fresh air and become immersed in the wonders of wetlands. Where wildlife, in particular wild birds, find a haven to nest and feed, or to stop over on their long migratory journeys. Over 180 wild bird species, more than 300 butterflies and moths, 18 dragon and damselflies, water voles, amphibians and a host of other creatures can be seen throughout the year.
