Le Pain Quotidien - Royal Festival Hall

Description

Whenever possible, Le Pain Quotidien sources organic ingredients. The approach is about finding the very best, in a way that is good for all of us as well as the planet.

This philosophy influences every part of the way LPQ does business, from the food served to the design of the stores and the materials used. LPQ uses reclaimed wood and recycled gypsum in construction, energy-efficient lamps, and environmentally friendly cleaning supplies and packaging.

LPQ’s bread is made today exactly as it was in the beginning: with only organic stone-ground flour, salt, and water, kneaded and shaped by hand and baked in a hearth under the watchful eye of artisan bakers.

Each location has a communal table where friends and strangers alike come together to break bread and linger for a while. Like all of LPQ’s furniture, the communal table is made from reclaimed wood.
