Event Description

Want to make your own tools, etc? - This one day workshop will teach you the basic woodcarving techniques through making spoons, Japanese flowers, butter knifes, and/or tent pegs. Keeping things simple we will use the axe and knife, and work through from choosing and cutting your wood to finished project in small steps and at a pace to suit you.

Carving these objects for the home can produce some wonderful unique shapes, perfect for gift giving or keeping to yourself. Enjoy the calm of sitting round an open fire in the beauty of the Limewoods, whilst you whittle away.
