Event Description

CPD focused training on Freshwater Algae. A mixture of theory and practical based learning.

This event will introduce participants to some of the diversity of macroscopic plant life in freshwater, including an illustrated lecture, sampling in nearby ponds and streams in Bushy Park for algae and then observing and identifying them under a microscope.

The Stockyard Education Centre will allow participants explore and understand one of London's largest Royal Parks. With experts on had to facilitate the day.

Facilitation Training Day – Bristol 2013

A one day course that will include examining and identifying the previous night’s moth-trap catch from Bushy Park’s woodland, acid grassland and wetland habitats.
