Heartland Community Wind

Description

Heartland Community Wind is a new Community Benefit Society which will install and own two wind turbines in the heartland of Scotland, near Aberfeldy.

The turbines will be 100% owned by members and will pay into a local community benefit fund -we’ll be providing scholarships for students from the Aberfeldy area to attend Perth College UHI.

The Society will install and own two medium-scale 250 kilowatt wind turbines. We have planning permission, grid connection and all the relevant permits and will build the turbines by the end of 2015.

Sharenergy

Description

Sharenergy is a not-for-profit organisation which helps communities find, build and own renewable energy generation. We are currently working with hydro power, wind, biomass, biogas and solar projects throughout the UK. We always work closely with community groups and aim to fill in the gaps in their knowledge and capabilities.
