Oxford Forestry Institute (OFI)

Description

The OFI is a research institute in the Department of Plant Sciences at Oxford University. Its main research fields include: ecology and silviculture; forest genetics and tree improvement; forest biodiversity and plant systematics; and forest policy and management. It offers doctoral and undergraduate education programmes. Its library is the world’s library of deposit for forestry and related literature and, together with CABI, the OFI offers an information and document delivery service.

The British Oceanographic Data Centre (BODC) is a component of the UK Natural Environment Research Council's (NERC's) environmental data centre network and has designated responsibility for marine data.
