Description

The ONCA Gallery, home of The ONCA Trust, is a growing hub for art, ecology and education.

We are unique in the UK, organising and hosting exhibitions, workshops and performances that ask questions, tell stories and initiate conversations about environmental change, whilst supporting and raising awareness for frontline conservation projects.

The aims of The ONCA Trust:

Kingston Environment Centre

Description

Kingston Environment Centre is currently run on a voluntary basis and informal callers are welcome to the centre on Friday afternoons when we also have volunteer workshop sessions.

We offer meeting and workshop space, a small kitchen, office resources and a backyard to all kinds of environmental groups based in the borough of Kingston. Leaflets and notices about environmental work are on display and there is a growing resource of environmental information of all kinds.

Jerwood Gallery

Description

The award-winning Jerwood Gallery, situated next to the fishing beach in Hastings’ historic Old Town, is the home for the Jerwood Collection of 20th and 21st century art and changing contemporary exhibition programme.

The Jerwood Collection comprises of paintings as well as works on paper and prints by British artists working between the First World War and the 1960s. The collection includes works by some of the most significant British artists of the previous century, including Sir Stanley Spencer, Laurence Stephen Lowry, Walter Sickert and Augustus John. Field Studies Council Juniper Hall

Field Studies Council, FSC, is the only environmental education charity dedicated solely to providing informative and enjoyable opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to discover, explore, be inspired by, and understand the natural environment. In a quiet wooded valley in an unspoilt area of the chalk North Downs, Juniper Hall, leased from the National Trust, is a superb country house dating from the 17th century. It is about 1km from Box Hill and only 40km from central London.
