Website & Green Directory Development

We have been developing a new website during 2011. This work will continue into 2012, with new services and functionality added.

Our countinuing aim is to find a way to incorporate the massive Green Guide database into a functional website that provides clear, easy access to the masses of data that we have collected over more than 15 years.

There are currently more than 16,000 listings in the database and we have identified a further 3,000 to add. Our target is to reach a total of 20,000 listings online by December 2013.

Key developments include:

• one single database for all listings
• integrated search function allowing site-wide searches including directory, events, news, reports and blogs
• user comments & reviews on individual listings
• multiple categories for listings
• enhanced detailed entries, including pictures & logos
• listings attached to maps
